Our provision supports students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 in one or more subject areas, with a strong grasp of curriculum requirements and a flexible approach to planning and delivery.
You will be responsible for creating engaging, accessible lessons that meet the individual needs of learners, as well as planning and delivering targeted interventions to support progress. A solid understanding of the national curriculum and how to adapt it for SEN learners is essential. You will also be expected to provide clear, purposeful feedback, track and monitor progress, and work collaboratively with support staff to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Excellent communication, flexibility and a calm, consistent demeanour are essential, as is a willingness to liaise with parents, professionals and external agencies. Experience working with SEN students is desirable but not essential for the right candidate with a genuine passion for inclusive education.

- Qualified Teacher Status
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or support role is advantageous.

- Ability to effectively manage behaviour and de-escalate challenging situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
- Proficiency in appropriate IT tools and technology used for educational purposes.
